 We are The Panorama Patio Sale, organized and carried out by volunteers. We provide major funds for the Panorama Benevolent Fund, whose function is to provide support for Panorama residents in need. Started over thirty years ago, the Patio Sale is a year-round function. Throughout the year volunteers spend their days picking up donations, sorting, fixing, cleaning, pricing and boxing all the items donated to the Patio Sale. Among the items collected are tools, collectibles, fabrics, art items, kitchenwares, household items, linens, decorations, crystal and china, gifts, furniture, electrical appliances, TVs, microwaves and many more items.
The Patio Sale activities go on all year. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9 am to 11:30 am residents and members of the community come to purchase as well as to bring carloads of items to donate. These mornings are open for business and many buyers keep close track of incoming items to find what they want.
The July Patio Sale
On the third Saturday of July every year the Patio Sale holds the “granddaddy of all garage sales,” at which residents and the general public are invited to attend and to shop.
Hundreds of people descend on the Patio Sale at Panorama to buy excellent items at very reasonable prices. Many of the buyers are returnees like the lady who said last year that she had been every year-- having started when she was a little child in arms brought by her mother!
