Panorama is in the heart of the
beautiful Puget Sound area. Within driving distance are Washington's endless Pacific Ocean beaches, the majestic
Olympic and Cascade Mountains, including Mount Rainier, as well as the metropolitan areas of Seattle, Tacoma and
Portland.
And here in Olympia, the state capital, you'll find a culturally strong, very interesting community full of
recreational and educational activities. Favorite pastimes of many of our residents such as theatre, fishing, golf,
swimming and hiking can be enjoyed at Panorama. The area provides opportunities to set your own
level of activity. You are completely independent in your choice of activities - should you choose to participate at
all! A
calendar of campus events is printed each month and offers many choices.
To and From Panorama Panorama's own bus service provides transportation to local shopping, cultural events and churches. Bus
services, commercial and chartered, are available to and from Seattle, Tacoma and
Portland.
At Panorama
Panorama's Program Director schedules programs, activities,
special and social events with enough variety to interest and intrigue every resident.
Additionally, there are over 80 clubs, service organizations and hobby groups of every
kind on campus - you are sure to find one that interests you. Some examples include:
